WHOLE SCHOOL SENCO OR SEN TEACHER NEEDED IN ABU DHABI FOR JANUARY 2022

The school is looking to hire a SENCO or experienced SEND teacher that may be capable of moving into the position of SENCO. This role is K-12 and supports the development and implementation of IEPs, oversees support teachers, assists with support development of appropriate curriculum for students with Special Needs, and other matters related to special education.

It is essential that interested applicants have the relevant teaching qualifications and though American experience is preferred other backgrounds will be considered. There is an 80% Arabic and most students speak English as a second language so good skills of differentiation and cultural sensitivity are additional essential prerequisites.

demonstrate contemporary teaching methods and be competent in integrating technology into the curriculum;
have experience with Web 2.0 applications;
be able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community.
