Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to deliver agreed sales and profitability targets established by the business within the assigned sales area by developing new business and expanding the business with existing customers.
Key Accountabilities
FOR UAE:
• Deliver revenue and contribution margin according to budget (including accounts receivable and DSO)
• Accurate sales and pipeline forecasting, reporting and documentation
• Submit quarterly price benchmarking assessments against competition
• Ensure customer retention & acquisition
• Maintain direct contact with customers in the field, representing AkzoNobel in a professional manner to deliver customer satisfaction
• Manage customer portfolio and pipeline
• Create partnerships with customers to proactively grow the category & share of wallet
• Drive efficient credit management
• Take ownership of queries and complaints to ensure resolution on behalf of the customer within agreed deadlines
FOR BAHRAIN:
• Appoint new distributor for Dulux retail sales
• Deliver revenue and contribution margin according to budget (including accounts receivable and DSO)
• Migrate previously deployed tinting machines to newly appointed distributor operations
• Identify and appoint third party to deliver AMC for existing and new tinting machines or deploy resources through new distributor
• Accurate sales and pipeline forecasting, reporting and documentation
• Submit quarterly price benchmarking assessments against competition
• Maintain direct contact with customers in the field, representing AkzoNobel in a professional manner to deliver customer satisfaction
• Manage customer portfolio and pipeline
• Create partnerships with customers to proactively grow the category & share of wallet
• Drive efficient credit management
• Take ownership of queries and complaints to ensure resolution on behalf of the customer within agreed deadlines
Experience
• 5-8 years of work experience in commercial roles, sales and key account management, sales to strategic accounts (experience of working in UAE & Bahrain would be preferred)
• From Paints and coatings industry or any B2B industry environment.
• Minimum Bachelor s Degree in business management or related field. Masters of Business Administration in related field preferred
• UAE driving license is a must
• Skills Required Customer relationship management, Sales pipeline development, decision making, creating value propositions, results orientation, customer service orientation, problem solving, communication and presentation, commercial and business acumen, basic understanding of cross functional processes and financial concepts related to sales and cost to serve
