br Successful applicants will need to be understanding of the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy a school with a high population of Arabic speaking students The successful candidate will be an effective communicator confident in establishing open communication with students staff and parents Applicants must lead by example and play a full part in the Academy s extra-curricular activities programme br Applicants must be fluent English speakers hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification and have a minimum of 2 years experience of leadership in schools that follow the National Curriculum of England br Applicants must be able to demonstrate br Excellent subject knowledge of the NC br Experience of current UK initiatives and developments in English br Strong subject knowledge with an ability and willingness to teach across br KS3 KS4 and KS5 br Experience of teaching A Level English is essential br Experience of leading an English department is essential br The capacity to support creative learning and to focus on developing 21st Century learning environments and innovation skills br Confidence in using IT to motivate and extend student s learning br experiences br Experience of using data from internal assessments and standardised tests and external assessments to track student progress br Experience of teaching EAL students is essential br Package Details br Competitive salary tax free br An unlimited contract br Furnished accommodation including utilities br Annual return air ticket allowance br Medical insurance cover br br
