Job Description

The Marketing team plays a crucial role in the success of Expo 2020 Dubai, by driving awareness and engagement with the mega event, and the programmes taking place as part of the journey to Expo, the six months of Expo 2020 Dubai itself, and the preparation for the legacy phase.

Opportunity Responsibilities

The Head of CRM Growth, will shape the strategic approach and delivery in managing the Expo 2020 Dubai CRM. Database marketing analysis and marketing data management is core to this role with a primary focus to acquire customers and ensure continued personalized communication. This role will be responsible for analyzing and communicating digital data in order to keep all key stakeholders in the Expo 2020 Dubai informed.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

– Own and deliver a data driven customer centric communication strategy that will ensure the key objectives of visitation via tickets sales and engaging communication leading up to Expo are delivered;

– Continuously update and amended abovementioned strategy to keep customers engaged in lifecycle and booking journey communication;

– Provide strategic direction to key stakeholders on what is working/not working and what needs to change and day to day management of the CRM team ensuring they function as a high performing unit;

– Manage a team and agency to develop the CRM initiative and overall design of a revised Expo lifecycle and booking journey communication;

– Respond to customer insights in order to identify the best use of our digital channels for use in interest based email communications, notifications etc;

– Maintain a consistent customer centric brand image throughout all digital communication initiatives across all Expo lifecycle and booking journey communication;

– Lead the strategic delivery set out in this document by working with the partners, digital media, performance and digital analytics team to drive traffic, increase reach, acquire new customers/end users, and ultimately ticket sales;

– Active participant in meetings with Marketing and to stay abreast of campaigns requests from teams and make strategic recommendations;

– Handle communication campaigns campaign requests from departments; make recommendations and approve all locally-created content.

Skills

11+ years of relevant experience including focus on data base marketing and CRM, as well as:

– A Bachelor’s degree within a relevant field;

– Strong skills in strategy and planning, and management;

– In-depth knowledge and understanding of SAP CRM and communication platforms;

– Outstanding strategic, problem solving and thought leadership skills;

– Ability to thrive in a high paced, highly creative environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously;

– Demonstrated ability to lead strategic projects requiring synthesis of large amounts of complex data into meaningful conclusions;

– Ability to navigate, collaborate and influence cross-functional partners;

– Arabic language.
