Technical Skills:

• Data Architecture – Data Warehouse, Data Mart, ODS, ETL, reporting, analytics, master data management
• Data Modelling – 3NF, Dimensional, Star Schema
• Understanding of Telco BSS and OSS architectures and applications
• Good experience of multiple RDBMS at least including Teradata and Oracle
• Previous exposure to database scripting and programming languages at least including BTEQ, SQL*Plus and PL/SQL
• Experience with Informatica ETL
• Experience with Business Intelligence suites at least including Business Objects and MicroStrategy
• Understanding of data management applications such as Master Data Management
• Data pipeline integration: supporting millions/billions of daily transactions. Experience in stream event message technologies with exposure to messaging frameworks like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience in Big Data, Data Analytics. Experience with Hadoop MapReduce, Spark, Pig, Hive, realtime data streaming and event monitoring, Data ingestion (sqoop, flume, streamsets & kafka), RT-analytic engine,
• Hadoop cloudera solution, spark streaming, spring cloud data flow, python coding for big data, Apache Ceode, Solr Elastic, store (HDFS, Kudu, No SQL Hbase)
• Knowledge of vendor products such as HPE Vertica, SAP Hana, ATOS CODEX
• Understand common integration services: REST API exposure

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (i.e. Computing)
• Technical certifications especially in vendor products is highly advantageous (Strong integration, networking and security fundamentals)
• 10 to 15 years’ total work experience, with knowledge and experience in ICT, Telecom, and/or Tech. professional services – B2B sector(s) preferred
• Must have several years of data architect experience and have worked on large scale data migration programs.
